i have the vais tech ipod integration kit installed and you can only play videos while driving if you do an override on the navigation system. Do a search for the Navigation hack and you will find more info on what I am talking about.

The video quality is good. dont expect HD 1080p quality from the nav screen. A movie avereages around 300-400MB. You do the math on how many movies can fit on your 8 GB /16GB/ 32GB ipod /iphone and etc.

Just out of curiousity why is there a need for the nav hack? Aren't u playing a movie just like u would a song? Don't understand. Really against cutting any wires.

The OEM set up blocks out video while the car is in motion for safety reasons. You can only watch video when the car is in park with the parking brake on if you don't have the nav hack.
