Default Side view mirror in reverse.

Has anyone found when in reverse your side view mirror does move as it's suppose to but maybe not as much as you would expect??

In the other Lexus I've had I could see the rear tire when in Reverse (06 is250 ,07 rx400, 09 gs450h, and pretty sure our rc does it that way)...however in the gsf I see it move slightly down then inward...doesn't really make a whole lot of difference. Video link below.

In order for your mirrors to tilt when put in reverse. Either left or right side mirror button must be lit up in order for the mirror to tilt.

Yup it is, I see it move, just not as much as I'd expect.

put the car in reverse. Adjust the angle of tilt you want for both side. You should be set 😀

Spot on. Unlike previous models, you can set the mirrors any way you like for reverse.

Yes, do what is stated above (manually adjust the mirrors with the gear selector in R) and then I believe you also have to save/memorize the settings like you do for your driver's seat and steering wheel adjustments. Not 100% sure about having to save but positive about being able to expand the mirror ranges like you are seeking for I had the same issue when new.

Nice. Did not know that. Mine is set too far down and I thought I had to live with it, LOL.

The memory settings are for the "going forward" position(s),
your newly created "reversing" position will be for all drivers.

Note: you defeat the reversing position function by putting the
mirror selector switch in the middle, not R or L. On models
such as the RX with illuminated R and L, tap the lite one
so it goes out.
