I have a 2017 GS 350 and i have an iPhone 10 running the most up to date version. Can i set up text messages to appear in one of my split screens monitors? I tried a couple times to activate something but it was not successful.

I have a 2015 and my Samsung paired phone notifies me of a message when driving and then, I can have them read to me. I did not do anything special to get that going.

I have a 2018 and text messages show up on the left screen only. By default, notifications aren’t defaulted to on for the iPhone so you need to go into Bluetooth settings and hit the “i” and ensure “Show Notifications” is turned on. Then you’re good to go. I also have “Sync Contacts” turned on - don’t remember if that was on by default or if I turned on when I had my 2013.

thanks for this info. I have an iPhone 7 and was doing my usual morning search on the forums and didn't even know I could do that. I'm at work now and just turned on the "show notifications" on my Bluetooth setting for the iPhone. gonna check it when I get to the car in a few minutes.
