Speaking text messages with iPhone 7
I replaced my iPhone 6s with an iPhone 7. Now my Lexus 2014 GS 350 no longer displays and reads the text messages. I vaguely remember when I went from my iPhone 6 to the 6s I had to go in somewhere on the settings in the car and set some switch but I can't find it now. Help please!

Settings -> Bluetooth -> Then touch the little i next to the "Lexus GS" in the list of devices. Make sure "Show Notifications" is turned on.

Mine stopped working after updating to IOS10 I haven't tried to repair it as I enjoy not getting interrupted with texts while driving. Android worked better anyway as you can respond back. But Apple still doesn't allow that as far as I know.

guys it's a setting in the phone..
connect the phone to your car and go into your Bluetooth settings on the phone and choose the car, then turn on the settings..
I have a iPhone 7 plus with iOS 11.0.2 and it works just fine.
it is disabled by default, so with each new phone or ios upgrade you have to turn it back on..

Yep. Fully updated.
No issues.
Recycle your Bluetooth but it should remember everything. Check notifications on the phone for the Lexus line item under Bluetooth settings.
