Default puddle light mod help

So am thinking about doing this to make my gs look cool and make my car stand out. My major concern is the wiring part. What should i tap into for the power source?I don't want a separate switch. . Would like to come on when door opens and turn off after locking car in auto mode. And be able to turn on when going for a drive...p.s.if a switch has to be installed the most cleanest/stock looking there is. I really don't want to drill any panels anywhere in the car.

Why not just buy the plug-n-play Leuxs LED puddle lights off ebay. Exact fit, same plug...clean. Even adjustable.

Those are courtesy lights, not puddle lights. Puddle lights are the ones below your side mirrors.

MustangSal was talking about Lexus logo courtesy lights, logo puddle lights are not available..

For puddle lights, installing a brighter/different color LED bulb in the mirrors is the only option.

I believe many misunderstood me when I meant puddle lights I was referring to brabus style vip led puddle lights under the sideskirts. I bought a kit from jdmtoy for 50$ and want to install soon.

Hi, did you ever end up finding a power source for your undercarriage lights? I found one wire that turns on when you unlock the car but will stay on until you lock again OR car is on and put into DRIVE.

(black wire where arrow is pointing)
