Default Day time running light is not functioning

I just bought a GS fsport recently. The day time running light is not functioning at day time but is working well at night time. So, could you help or give any advise? it is a Japan recond car.

Did you make sure the manual switch to turn off didn't accidentally get clicked?

There's an option to turn them off somewhere in the personalized settings; I don't remember where exactly. Go digging and you'll find it.

If you are looking at them right after you turn on your car then they won't be on. You have to put your car in any other gear besides park and they will active automatically. The second day after I bought my GS home I thought they stopped working but as soon as I moved into a different gear they turned on and stayed on until I turned off the car. I then turned on the car again and nothing was on, so I put the car in reverse and the back to park and they came on and stayed on.

1. Put switch to auto mode
2. Throw the car in reverse or drive - have someone look to see if its on or not or you can press the parking break and go check yourself.
3. If lights still OFF follow step 4
4. Go in the settings and it should be in vehicle customization day time running light option turn it ON.

good luck

I did what you said already. But it still remain the same, stilll not functioning. By the way, it is a cool function by what you said. Can i ask where is the sensor to detect daytime and night time? or just depend the clock? mine is function well at night time, but it lost the function at daytime.

Yardie is right. Here you go...
Set Up - Vehicle - Vehicle Customization - Lights Settings. Once in here you can turn on/off. If it's on then it's worth a trip to the stealer.

It's a new car. Take it to the dealer and explain the problem. It will be fixed in 5 minutes. No charge.

You keep mentioning it's a reconditioned car. Was it wrecked before you bought it? Maybe there is a wiring problem? Seems weird that you haven't been able to get them to turn on. Like the post above. Take it to your dealer and they will figure it out.
