Default 2nd Owner Personalization Questiions

I am the proud owner of a preowned 13 GS. When I pair my phone it says the previous owners first name. Can't see where to change that.

Also, how do you know which key fob is L1 or L2 on memory settings?

You need to reset the navigation back to factory, so it resets all the addresses and also deletes the contact info.

I tried that. All memory data is gone but iPhone pairing shows up with the name.

There is a way to change the name of the paired phone under Bluetooth settings I believe.

I seem to remember that you can delete the paired phone somewhere in the settings. I traded a Blackberry for an iPhone 5 and deleted the Blackberry info. That should delete the name as well.

I deleted the phones. In the navigation system I could rename my phone but my phone's (iPhone) Bluetooth device list show it as Barbara's GS. In my other car's it has typically said car multi-media.

Looks like its time for a name change. Barbara isn't such a bad name. I think there should also be a setting under the Bluetooth settings menu to change the car name if I'm not mistaken.

Delete the pairing from the phone and the vehicle and start over after renaming the vehicle's Bluetooth connection name.
