What version of Techstream will you be using to set it up and program it to the ECUs?

@bclexus Yes. The kit I have does not include a new key fob. It integrates with the vehicle's existing key fob, so no need for an additional remote. Using Techstream v18.00.008

I saw a reddit post a bit ago that mentioned that the remote start, even if key fob only, would still attempt to get authentication from Lexus. If that were the case, then the 3G models would not be able to. Then again I don't know if key fob remote start existed at one point without need an Enform account.

The Smart Key fob must be coded to the vehicle.
A trial or paid subscription to Lexus Enform is needed to use the Smart Key fob to remotely start the Lexus vehicle.
The Lexus vehicle must be compatible with Lexus Enform Remote Service, meaning it needs to be a 2015 or newer model.
The Lexus vehicle must have an active cellular network connection, capable of 4G/5G cellular communication. [This may be questionable.]
The Lexus vehicle must be within range of the Smart Key fob.
I believe to have a Lexus Enform account requires the vehicle be a 2018 or newer model with an activated/updated DCM (Telematics Communications Module).
* Note: I do not believe the Smart Key fobs for my 2018 GS 450h would remote start my car prior to having my car's DCM being activated/updated.
It's my awareness the Telematics DCM of pre-2018 Lexus models cannot be updated/activated to use today's 4G/5G communications.
[This may be questionable whether it is needed for Smart Key fob remote starting using the Remote Engine Starter Kit - the topic of discussion in this thread.]
