Power Steering Problem
I have a problem with the Lexus GS300 from 2005.
I bought a car with a damaged engine - something broke inside, but it started and drove, and the power steering itself was working, the mechanic replaced the engine and problems started
the main one I am struggling with now is the power steering - I calibrate with techstream, I get to the point where the steering wheel is shaking (literally half a second, one twitch, but it is) and the error crashes like in photo 1 below. So I delete errors and keep the same. I thought maybe the computer was dead (the one under the battery), but it's ok because my friend has the same car and let me check it - he can be calibrated without any problems on my computer, but thanks to this operation I noticed one thing - he like The power steering did not work, it worked very hard, and for me, it is also very hard, but in such a severe way, i.e. when turning the steering wheel, I feel jumping on every tooth, while in my friend's case, this steering wheel is heavy, but smooth.
Has the steering gear fallen? But from what? it was not moved when replacing the engine ...
Anyone have any idea? Anyone suggest something? I'm posting some techstream pics
