Hey there not on much ....but the other night i droped off my freind went to pull out of the spot and power steering was tight so i pulled it to the left and the steering wheel made a LOUD pop and moved counterclock wise but the car did not...like it was loose or something and the wheel would turn around and pop with each turn but no movement from the wheels..... now the steering wheel will move and pop VERY LOUD with almost no power steering im assuming its the pwr steering pump or the steering rack...any ideas .....im dredded seeing my mechanic tommorow...thanks in advance to any help

You might as well just wait for the mechanic's diagnosis. I'd say that it's either the intermediate steering shaft (there's a U-joint on there) or the rack itself, maybe a tie rod end.
