Tesla Syle Headunit
Will do. I also want to tell everyone that I purchased the 2 x 32 unit and they sent me the 1 x 16 unit. I am not having much luck with Phoenix Android Radio doing anything about it. I sent several emails to them.
Great news! Please keep us updated on the install and progress with videos or photos. Also, your general observations of the unit. Boot times, screen responsiveness and anything you can provide. Thanks

Yes here is the process
The camera comes with 3 pieces, (1) the long cord with two RCA ends and two red wires at the end, (2) the power cord with a plug and a loose black and red wire, and (3) the camera itself. The install is as follows.
1. One end of the long cord goes to the head unit. The RCA goes to "cam-in" RCA plug, and the red wire goes to "reverse"
2. At the other end of the long cord, the RCA goes into the camera, and the red wire goes to the positive wire for the reverse light, I believe its green.
3. The power cord, the plug also goes to the camera, then the black wire goes to a bolt to ground it, I used the bolt that keeps the taillight in, AND the red wire end ALSO goes to the reverse light power.
What I did was connect the red wire from the long cord with the red wire from the power cord, and tied those to a wire that goes to the tail light power, which I think was the green wire.
I think this is understandable enough, but If you have questions, let me know.

From what I’ve read it depends on the model year of your car. The rear camera on the 2006 GS is out of date thus incompatible with the Phoenix Radio. However, newer cars have no problem interfacing the stock backup camera with the unit. You will have to purchase an updated backup camera if your stock cam is outdated.
I have no glare issues. Still kind of pissed that I ordered the 2x32 and received the 1x16. They still have rectified this or even addressed it. Having said all that, the freaking upgrade is incredible. I don’t have unlimited data on my phone so I’m try to find the best offline gps to install. The Sygic gps that comes with the unit is terrible - at least the offline version is.
