I'm not sure mine didn't come stock with a camera. But this does have a similar look to stock. Here's what you get for tge extra 10$

the tesla unit comes with two usb cables and has Bluetooth so no real need for an aux. Here's how the camera looks installed

Did you have to run the cable all the way since it's just reg rca? Or just splice into the existing connector?

Yeah was a little confused since there's a few wrong ways to do it but I was mostly curious about the rerunning of wire completely or just reusing existing wires with a new camera. Did you try downloading offline maps for google and using that? I personally think i'm going to run a usb/aux where my current aux is then run another usb where my ashtray is so I'll have a few options for usb music/files and charging.

I found a video on YouTube that explained really well how to wire it. And yes I had to run the rca all the way to the front. I don't think you can just tap into the existing wires.

Did you have to cut the metal to get the camera screwed in? I'm prob just gonna install mine in the same spot as my existing which is the middle.

oh man! I'm so glad I found this thread!! I would really love to get this unit to replace my old one, I think I saw a oem camera in the rear but mine unit doesn't have GPS or reverse camera option so this would be awesome.
