I had problems with my fuel pump which gave me all kinds of error because the engine wouldn't start sometimes while driving. Anyway, I replaced the fuel pump and all the errors disappeared except the "T/M Error" I finally just disconnected the battery for 20 minutes and it was gone. Hope this helps.

To me, "T/M Error" hints at a transmission-related issue. I say that because the "A/TM" code on the door sticker references the transmission code.

I just had the issue resolved myself. My engine would not start sometimes when my fuel pump was bad. I disconnected the 12v for 20 min; then reconnected. It solved the problem for me. Its been a week

It is your transmission & transaxle error.

You need to go to the local autoparts store, or purchase a code reader to read the CEL codes you are given on your car. Otherwise we can't help you.

Well since my fuel pump was faulty, sometimes the engine wouldn't start. So that generated an error. I would press the start button and the starter would turn the engine without it starting. So, when I got it fixed I just had to erase the code.

Ohh no, not in your case. I meant the OP. He was wondering what T/M error was. It's your transmission & transaxle giving an error code.

Only way for us to truly help him is for him to give us the codes .

If the engine fails to start while driving, or fails to start after turning over the error code in generated. Even though its a transmission error, it doesn't mean there is a transmission problem
