Default Mirror issues

Own a 2008 GS 350.

After reverse or when I fold in mirrors to park they don't want to go back to their 'memorized' positions.

So I have to manually reposition them.

Anyone had similar issues? Is this commom? Any recommendations?

either your gears are stripped or in the little drop down box, you dont have the left or right mirror selected. if neither are selected then the mirrors will not move.

I have the same issue as you when I put the car in reverse it points down but then does not go back up to the exact location and have to readjust using the switch. I think this was a common issue. I don't care to use the down tilt when in reverse so I left it as is. If under warranty/CPO see if your dealer will fix. I also think someone did a "how to" fix it but required you to open up the mirrors.

Default Same here..

Yeah, i have the same problem its getting rather annoying that it doesnt go back to the desired position. For me i really need to be in the correct position for safe over taking..And having to adjust it all the time is really troublesome. Thinking of disabling the auto mirror down on reverse. if only i had any idea on how

The problem that I have is every time in reverse, I would set it the way that I wanted down and out, but once I have it in gear like d or p and back to reverse it would go back to factory default.
