Default Mirrors not tilting down when car put in reverse?

I have a 2010 IS250 RWD with 10,000 miles. My rear view mirrors have stopped tilting down when I put the car in reverse. I've tried I several times with the right or left mirror switch selected, but it just doesn't work. Is there anything else I should trouble shoot before taking it to the dealership on warranty repair?

Thanks for any help!

If the switch is on the middle, nothing selected, they don't tilt. If you put it either in left or right it should tilt.

Yeah, I keep it selected on the left/driver side position, and tried putting it on the right with neither side working. It seems quite soon for my IS to be having any electrical/warranty issue. Thanks for the input.

Is there anything impeding it from tilting? something stuck behind the mirror perhaps? I have a problem with mine freezing after a wash in the winter. But you can rule that out considering you live in AZ.

It came on the Luxury and Sport Packages i believe. I've read it somewhere here on CL on which ones specifically had it.

Easiest way to tell is to just put your mirror adjust switch to either left or right (not center) and then put the car in Reverse. If they tilt down, you got it

OP No idea why yours isn't working however the 2010 model even if it tilts, doesn't tilt all the way, kinda of very annoying, but that is the way it is setup now.

Yeah. I have the Luxury Package. Funny thing is, I'm not quite sure when they stopped working. I rarely use them when backing up, but realized they weren't working anymore after backing into my garage for a cleaning today.

The mirrors can get stuck if you do not use them for a while... Just manually move them up and down and then try turning the car on and move out of park. It's worth a try...

Tried it. No luck. I can adjust them both manually and with electronic control adjustment, but reverse automatic tilt is not happening. I've got an appointment at the dealer next Monday to have it checked out.
