Default Gs350 side mirror lights

Any know how to take off the mirror. Is it the same way like how they do it on the IS? I've done it on the IS before but trying to pry the mirror on the Gs seems a lot harder. The search I found didn't really explain how to do it

Are you referring to the puddle lights under the side mirrors?

Ok, you've got to be very careful when prying it out because Ive seen my friend cracked the light housing. It's a lil tuff and time consuming but it'll pop out with the right prying tool, just take your time and be patience.

Same process as the IS when I had my 3GS, I did it using the method from the IS forum and I believe the write up thread in the GS section is the same. Here is the video go straight to 7:15.

^ agree... GS is much harder. I've done one of the side mirror. It seem I did it correctly. Everything is working great but it's so much trouble I just leave the other as is. LOL

This is how to replace the bulb without remove the mirror cover, use a putty knife or something flat.

There are 2 plastic tabs holding the straight edge in, once those are cleared can just remove the house

It's easier than it looks, trust me. I was hesitant at first but it worked out well. I used these lights... http://store.ijdmtoy.com/High-Power-...t10-sku323.htm

But I should of went with these... http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Plasma-High...t15_sku326.htm

I got them as reverse lights and mannnn they're awesome, crazy bright.

Here's a crappy Iphone pic
