is it necessary to get an alignment done whenever you switch between your summer and winter wheel set up? sorry if this is a noob question. this is the first time i've ever gotten rims and i'm still learning.
to moderators, if this is in the wrong section i apologize.
thanks guys. the tires look perfectly fine. i've only had the works on for 3145 miles (about 2 months) so i probably wouldn't see much tire wear anyway.
what about if you go from 17's to 18's do u need do it then?
Not unless you're putting the wrong size tires on. A 16 inch wheel and an 18 inch wheel with the right tires will the same as far as the car is concerned.
they only time you need to get your car aligned is if you remove a major suspension part and reinstall. changing wheels, tires, etc... will not require an alignment
