Default New wheels need alignment?

I just had some nice 20's put on and i'm wondering if I should get an alignment done? The guys that put them on said I should get one but they don't do alignments so I am just wondering if I need that done?

If it's been awhile since you haven't done or checked your alignment, it's always a good idea to get it checked atleast. You wouldn't want to find out the hard way that your alignments off by buying a new set of tires.

I've had the car for like 6 months now so I don't really know the history, I used to have an SUV (non Lexus so I won't mention what make) and when i had my rims put on then they did an alignment the next day, like had me come back so I think just to be safe i'll have it checked out but i don't think anyone is going to tell me it doesn't need an alignment even if it doesn't.

With the newer machines, it's shows before and after specs as well as OEM tollerances. It's important to have this sheet of paper after the alignment, so you know they've done work to it or not or if it even needed work.

Good to know about the paperwork, I've never even looked at the paper work on other vehicles. I don't know if there is a thread on places not to buy from but anyone who is reading this should stay away from WheelShip2u.com, by far it was the worst experience i've ever had buying anything, wheels or not...
