So, cleaning my car today and now I'm freaking out because the key to my lugs which is normally in my glove box is missing. So hopefully I'll find it but if not what's the protocall? I purchased the lugs used so don't have the key code. Is there a way maybe I could get another key? I'd not how the heck do I get the lugs off?
The lug companies only make so many keys the chances are a local wheel shop could have one to match or can get them off. A friend of mine just had to do this earlier this week.
Do not know about regular tire shops, but dealer service centers can get them off. A few years ago a tire shop stripped out my wheel lock and I took it to Toyota and had them remove it and replace it. Then I took their bill back to the tire shop that did the job and got reimbursed.
i was hoping you were referring to the stock locks since the dealer has a "master" key to remove all of them. any tire shop should be able to get them off without messing up your rims. just make sure you dont take it to a regular budget mechanic that will take the locks off at any cost (i.e. messing up your rims). i REALLY hope you find that key tho
