Default lug nut lock key missing

I'm in urgent need of some help.
the lug nut lock key is missing on my 01 lx470. I spoke to the dealer and they said i have to contact the company directly for a replacement. No information is being given about the company either. I know the dealership has those keys as they replaced the brakes on it so they must've had to open the wheels.
Can someone tell me where to get the key so that I have one in case it's needed.
thnx in advance.

the Wheel locks are McGard (most likely). To get an extra or replacement key, you would need the code for the lock set you have. This is a 3x5 card that would have come with the vehicle. Mine was in the glove box when I took delivery.

However, most tire shops and the dealership should have a universal key to remove your nut. How else do they get the lugs off when someone lost the key and they buy a replacement set from the dealer and have them install the new set?

talk to another dealership or a tire shop.

Yes, McGard makes the wheels locks used on Lexus'. Every dealer has a master set, almost ever tech, including myself, has their own personal set. They can match your wheel lock against their master set, and order you the specific lock. Done it a million times. Or you can simply buy a new set and have it installed on the spot, instead of waiting for a replacement key.
