Default Problems with right and left side mirrors

Do any of you have problems with the position of your left and right mirrors after you put your car in reverse? I find that my mirrors are readjusted a little high on both sides. I took it to northside lexus and they told me that they can't replace the part until they know exactly what is wrong with it.

It's happened to a few of us. It's becoming more prominent on mine. I've just had my car for a year, purchased new!

I had the same issue. My service rep replaced both mirror assemblies under warranty and had to replace the clear bra parts on the mirrors

After reading about the tilt problems on a couple of GS forums,I've decided to not use the reverse tilt option.
Never though it was a big deal anyway.

take it in and have your dealer replace them if needed. it's frustrating when they don't reset in the same spot. had my replaced also and like joeb don't use the reverse tilt.

I just had my car serviced yesterday and they are now replacing the drivers side mirror due to this exact issue. They already replaced the Pass side about 6 months ago. It is pretty strange.

My GS does that now but my LS430 also had this same issue. Kind of frustrating.

The mirrors on my 450h started freaking out a month ago. The driver side mirror never goes back to the correct position after tilting for reverse. Passenger side mirror occasionally does the same.

Additionally, the driver side mirror does not tilt down as much as it should in reverse.

I'll be taking car to the dealer soon to fix this.

I too had the same problem. I had both mirrors replaced this week to fix the problem. So far it seems to have addressed the problem....However....the dealer failed to take the clear bra off of the old mirrors and put it on the new ones. So, back to the dealer I go...

Our 08 RX350 doesn't have this issue. Nor did the previous 04 RX330 and 05 RX330 we had. All 3 of them were Kyushu made.
