Default 1999 GS300 LCD display

Hi everyone !! I'm new here. Just picked up a 1999 GS300 with 112k on the clock. Car was super babied and all important work was done. Only flaw is the radio LCD display is fried. I've searched and read lots of posts on this common problem, but can't seem to find the replacement part anywhere. Is this part no longer available ? If so, what are my options on an aftermarket radio with bluetooth, etc.

Are you talking the Nav unit? If not, just grab a used OEM from eBay. If you want, you could throw the bad one up as "for parts", even use the same box to ship.

If you ARE talking the Nav, I am not sure of the cost/logistics of that.

Either way, putting in an aftermarket head unit comes with it's own set of issues. You will lose the factory sub, amps and speakers with the usual plug-n-pray harness.

Parts are available if you have the part number. I believe the last time I looked it was $160. I took that money and invested in a double din Pioneer instead.

Well, then, just replace the whole stereo with another OEM unit. There has got to be quite a few on feeBay.
Worst case, use the face from yours with the rest of the replacement.
