Default Head Unit replacement w/Nav + Sirius

I have a 2000 GS300 Platinum Series, and my HU has had issues before with speakers going in and out and now the LCD display is losing pixels. I have seen threads on replacement HU, but what I really want to know is if somebody had replaced their OEM HU with an aftermarket NAV HU and possibly added satelite radio (Sirius), which one do you guys prefer. I want it to look classy and not cheap.

Which is the best aftermarket NAV system?

Can I use the OEM amp or will I need to get another one?

Can I use the OEM 6 disk changer or do I even need it if I get satellite radio?

Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm sure this question has been asked several times already in the Audio section and you would probably get more feedback there! To give you my .02 I just added the Eclipse DVD/NAV unit(6600) with the Ipod interface and Sirius, but have yet to activate the Sirius radio! I love it!The factory amp you will probably have to bypass. With the Ipod interface all my cd's are on my Ipod so there was no need for me to upgrade to a disk changer! The oem disk changer would be no good to you with an aftermarket system, I don't think! Good luck and keep us posted!

I have the same HU

Is there a way to get the stock sub to work with these HU's?

Do you lose the steering wheel controls when you put in a unit like the Eclipse?
