I have a 2000 GS300 and my radio LCD screen is Blank, the radio works fine but I can't see anything on the Screen. does anyone else have this problem?

I purchase a new OEM radio Head unit from a 2003 Lexus GS300, the Radio fits fine, but the Wiring plug on the back are different.

Is there a wiring diagram or a Adapter plug from the 2000 GS300 radio on to a 2003 GS300 radio?

I think mine is a Pioneer unit

But yes they do go out over time and no there is not an adapter for the 01-05 radios. You'll have to resell that one and buy another unit for the 98-00 models for it to work.

I was going to try to remove the LCD from the newer Radio and change it into my 2000 radio,
wondering if that will work.

but looks like i have to sell the 2003 unit and buy another oem headunit for the 2000 model.

back to the drawing board.
