Default Install Your Own?

Did you install your own lowering springs? I am usually pretty comfortable with DIY's, but I guess this process sounds doable if I rent the Compressor. I honestly don't trust a careless mechanic shop to handle my mint condition Lexus, I'd rather run into a problem myself than pay 400+ for lowering springs to be put on my ES. Would you guys recommend it as long as you have jack stands and such.

Suspension was the first DIY for me. Besides oil changes.

I say do the rear first since its easier, well im not sure on the ES but for the cars i have done it on the rears were the easiest. Just drop the lower control arm and the shock should just come out.

I had to push (hulk status) my UCA down while another person took out the coil

It helps to have someone else give you a hand. Once you loosen camberbolt, sway bar, and strut bolt the LCA should be easy too push.

you can do it yourself. Basic tools, jack and stands, you can rent a spring compressor from oreilys or autozone or buy one from harbor freight for 12 bucks. took me about 45mins- 1hr each corner(removing, compressing manually, installing)
