Default car down again.. fixed starter now this pls help

just over a week ago we fixed the starter to the gs300 worked fine for a week.
Then yesterday the car started then drove like a mile then the car sounded funny then it shut off,
started it up and its on but it sounds bad so i pop hood and it sound like the starter is trying to start over and over so i take the key out and it would still try to keep starting, so i had to take disconnect the battery so it would stop. took starter out and brought back to store and they tested the starter its still good.. asking around one person told me it can be the ignition wire? any help would help again.. don't want to buy wire til I find out thats the problem. thanks Luther

Sounds like an electrical short/problem. Try to see if you accidentally did something to the wires/wiring while you were installing your starter.

Get a new starter.
The plunger is stuck causing the gear is not to release when the start circuit is open...
