Default Heating Problems 2001 GS300

Alright, my problem is that I do not have heat on the driver side but I do have on my passenger side. Before I go and change that driver side servo I wanted to get another opinion. I bought this car from my brother in law and he has had this problem for a while. He has changed all the servos, the climate control unit and the radiator. He told me that one of his friends said it's the heater core so I went and disconnect the hoses that go to heater core used some chemical and compressed air to blow any risdue thats in there, that it the heat is blowing hot only the passenger side. Does anyone have any ideas whatelse I can do?

He says 4. it's been about a year and I'm pretty sure he put aftermarket servos.

why would u change all 4? noone changes the air recirculation servo.... who makes aftermarket servos? any noises coming from the servos? running the heat/ac through ALL modes does it affect the heat on the drivers side at all?

put the heater hose back on the heater core and make sure you have enough coolant in there

Alright, I cleared it up with him he said he change 3 left, right and middle. He also said there original. I hear a clicking noise coming from the passenger side. I get A/C through both passenger and driver side and through all modes. Putting the heat on the left side and the ones in the rear just blow cool air.

then he DIDNT change the drivers side servo? im still puzzled why he changed the air recirculation one. how can they be original if he changed them or are you meaning they are OEM ones? what do you mean the ones in the rear blow cool air?

your all over man with your wording and your terminology ....i got no clue what your talking about. if he hasnt EVER changed the drivers one and your not getting heat from the drivers side then its kind of a no brainier to just change the drivers side

Ok I'm going to start all over. My problem is that there is NO heat on the drivers side at all...it only blows cool air. Now the passenger side blows hot air. When I do use the A/C I get cold air on both sides in every mode. And when I put the heat on it, all the heat blows on the passenger side only on every mode. Now my bro in law says that he had a friend change 3 servos and he says, "the right, middle and left side" do I know what he means? No. Today I opened up driver side and passenger side to see atleast visually see if the servos move. I saw that "Air Mix Control Serv Motor (Driver Side)" is working, I also saw the "Air Vent Mode Control Servo Motor" is working, and the "Air Inlet Control Servo Motor" working. Now when it comes to the "Air Mix Control Servo Motor (Passenger Side) it is being blocked so I can't see it if it operating. Now this terminology is coming from straight from TIS (Toyota Information System)

well their are 4 servos....3 on the passenger side and one on the drivers side. If the drivers heat isnt working i would say the drivers servo needs to be replaced. does it make any grinding noises?
