Default No heat on driver's side

I've searched and read up on this. Guess my servo(s) are gone. Money is a bit tight right now and the weather is cold. Has anybody found a way to lock the servo in a position that would provide heat until I can afford to get it fixed permanently?

If you take the servo off you can manually move the lever that operates heat control. You could be creative about how to keep it in place. Tie strap, tape...??

Same problem here with my 99 GS300.
I have learned to close the vents on the driver side, move the passenger side vents toward me and somehow get some hot air coming towards me.
It's a slow "warming" process but it works for me.

(until i replace the servos)
