Default Lights/Alarm acting weird

Hello all, I am a long time member first or second time poster here in Atlanta.

Background:
When I got my 2GS3 a few months ago it was all stock. It had the Mark Levinson Package, and everything worked perfectly fine. When it got dark the headlights would come on automatically, and when I parked the car and removed the key the headlights stayed on for about 30 secs before the timer cut them off. Or I could hit the alarm arming button "Panic Button" on the remote twice and the lights would go off immediately.

Changes:
I upgraded my headunit to a Pioneer AVH-3300BT, and had it installed and bypassed by Dynamic Sound. After finding out that the ML Amp isn't compatable with any other head unit, I bought 1 set of Alpine Type-R 6.5 Components, 1 set of Alpine Type-R Coaxials, and a Kenwood 500 Watt 4 Channel Amp. It was all professionally installed by Zen Motors LLC.

Problem:
Now after everything is installed and running smoothly, I noticed that when I drive my car at night and the headlights come on like they should. When I park my car now and remove the key from the ignition and press the "Panic Button" on the remote the lights stay on. However, after a while the timer kicks in and shuts them off. This may not be a problem for some, but I have 2 issues with this. I come home pretty late from work and when I park my car my headlights shine right into the bedroom of my neighbors. While they haven't complained I don't wish to **** them off. Also the 2GS3 has been a car I wanted for a long time and now that I have one it bugs the hell out of me that something isn't working exactly right.

I know this is a long post for a simple question, but I wanted to be thorough. What could my problem be? Where do I look? What questions do I ask?

Thanks in advance.

sounds like a possible door actuator issue....check the doors to make sure they all actually locking. if one of them isnt the lights will stay on (although i dont remember if they eventually go off from the timer or not)

since a shop installed these, why are you not taking this back to the shop and asking them?

After you turn the car off, just flick the switch to the normal "on" position then back to "auto". Don't see what the big deal is.

the problem parker is his lights arent turning off when he hits the lock button which we all know means he has a issue with one of the doors locking which as i said sounds like a door lock actuator issue its also possible to be a installer issue if this just happened after the remote was installed

+1. I have this issue right now. I have to manually lock one of my doors 50% of the time other wise the light do not go off and the alarm does not set. I have an eBay motor for it on the way.

Well here is what the actual lock is doing. It almost seems like something is simply jammed or binded up. When I go to lock the door the lock switch next to the door handle inside the car moves but not quite all the way. Then is moves back to open. When I try to flip the switch manually to lock the door it moves half way then I feel some resistance in the switch. I didn't force it as I didn't want to break anything.

Do my symtoms still sound like I need to replace the motor in the door?

Thanks for the help in advance.
