Car Light Wire / alarm Expert Help Please!
Hey CL,
I need some help. I recently noticed that my after market alarm does not trigger the head lights or tail lights or puddle lights when i lock / unlock the car. On the normal key fob, the lights were triggered when i unlocked / locked the car. After playing with my car i noticed that the alarm fob would trigger the lights (Front / Rear only) when i turned the lights completely off via the **** inside the car. If the lights are set to auto, the lights will not trigger. So today i went back to the alarm shop were i got mine done and they said that they knew about the problem and that there was nothing they could do. I thought to myself BS!, Im pretty sure its just a couple wires to tap right? so that went he alarm is triggered on / off the lights would flash. I tried to tell this to the guy and he was like sorry, i cant do it.
So for all you experts on the Car inside wiring, is it possible to get my alarm and my alarm fob to trigger the lights like the factory oem key fob does? If so do you know what wires would i need to tap?

The stock one kinda sucks. If i kick my wheel with the stock alarm it wont go off. If i kick my wheel with the aftermarket alarm the alarm goes off. If i jack up the car with the stock alarm on, it wont go off. If i jack up the car with the aftermarket alarm it will go off. Im getting rims within the next couple days, i felt it was essential and also gave me pace of mind. The alarm wont stop anyone, but it will definitely make them more nervous being as its pretty loud and could let other people aware of whats happening..
