need some help

My 1998 GS400 has been setting in storage since Dec. of last year I picked it up drove it home from Dallas to New Mexico car was fine about a week after I was driving on the freeway and the car starts hiccuping but no lights on and the car only dose it on the freeway

whats the problem with it please help

Did you drain the oil before you drove it home? And did you add fuel stablizer before you stored it?

went to sears got everything checked and oil changed in Dallas and we did add fuel stabilizer before i put it in stored

It very well could be, it’s very easy to check if the fuel filter is dirty.

no lights usually means fuel pump or fuel pressure related item since car doesnt see it as a trouble code

I had a car hucciping once due to a clogged fuel filter. The car had been sitting still for a while also.

def check the fuel filter. . thats most likely gonna be the issue

OK thanks ill get the fuel filter done and clean the MAF sensor and go from there
