Good news- that is exactly what I did 5 years ago, based on your recommendation.
What a bargain that battery was- it lasted almost exactly 5 years - same as the warranty.
It was still working, but would not hold a charge over a weekend, so back to WalMart I went to replace it.

Bad news- what the hell has happened to battery prices in 5 years?
The WalMart MAXX-24FS that I just bought to replace my EverStart cost me $80!
The only consolation is that the MAXX line has a 10 year warranty.

i have 3 kicker L7's- neon in the trunk-zapco ck 6.0 comp amp and iforce 2100amp ,zapco eq- 4 tvs-5 when navi screen turns to tv, power inverter-ps2 and i have a optima yellow top for the mid/higs/subs and then i have a diehard platium battery for the motor and electonics inside the car.i keep the stero on with the car off for a long time before the battery gets low, i put a relay so when the rear battery is low then it uses power from the front battery but the car never dies all the way. Its was $200 for the diehard and like $150 for the yellow top out the door but thats the best overall battery i found. my 2 cents.
