Default Leaky b-pipe

As the title states, there is a small leak in my 00 GS300 B-pipe before the cat and its causing CEL issues, rather than fixing the leak is there a better alternative? I know Carson has one but its $500 :-/

Get a muffler shop to weld up the hole.

You mean "headers". Like he said, bring it to a muffler shop. But I think it's the gasket for the headers.

So, I ordered a megan y-pipe to replace the factory one that the dealer said had the leak issue in , install went smooth but the ******in light came back on today FML....

Car is going to the dealer on friday and I am having them fix it for good what ever the cost is, the GS is showing its age as we speak. It needs new tires, ball joints, this y-pipe issue etc etc. I am in talks with my local Acura dealer to see if I can just trade the damn thing for an 06 RL.

BTW here is what the megan y-pipe looks like.

It was P0430 before and now its P0155, something to do with the air flow meter.

Clean your MAF, and change your O2 sensors.

I would go and buy some of that CNC electrical cleaner and carefully clean out your MAF, then do what rock-a-lex said and reset your ecu.

CEL code is P0155 O2Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank #2 Sensor #1)

The leak issue with the megan y-pipe was faulty gaskets, the exhaust shop installed old crush gaskets from OEM y-pipe so there was a leak where the headers met the y-pipe. I'll be getting the new gaskets installed today and resetting the code. Going to cross fingers/toes/***** to hope CEL dont come back :ugh:.

BTW, if it does come back, should I replace the above mentioned O2 sensor?

As you can see from the above diagram that the the bank 2 has only one sensor on it which is before the cat so the only reason I can think the CEL code is coming on is due to a bad O2 sensor? Rather than engine malfunction?

Picture of the actual sensor

This is where the wire from the sensor loops up and plugs into the socket.
