Default PPE Headers Gasket situation

Hey guys need your help!!! Car is at the dealer on the lift taken apart for headers to be installed, however I got a huge problem. I brought the car to the dealer and told them I have a huge track event that I need to leave for on the 28th of May, the said no problem Friday it will be done. Comes Friday they tell me I need new gaskets cause PPE doesn't provide enough, and they won't get any in stock until Wednesday. I was like I need to be on the track that day!! So he goes well do you want us to just reuse the old ones, however if you get an Exhsust leak its not our fault. I told him you guys said you warranty the job, now if I get an Exhsust leak you guys should fix it. No because we are telling you that you need new ones, well you knew that i needed the car by tuesday and had no problem telling me it will be ready by then. I invested so much time and money for this event and this install.
They are charging me 1000 for labor not including alignment plus new gaskets. What are my options here. Thanks

how could they warranty their work when you are using your old exhaust manifold gaskets? that's not installation error. if your car is low miles, you would be fine IMO, but most change it out since it's already out. if you dont change it for new ones and it leaks, it wouldn't be installers fault. they are doing the right thing and letting you know first for less confusion if you do get a leak.

I agree, and told them to replace it, but they knew they need to be replaced and said it would be done by the time I needed it done. Now they waited last min and are telling we are sorry but it won't be done until Wednesday. That's not professional in their part, car has been there for a few days now. Last time I checked its an 8 Hr install, not 2 weeks. I just need a suggestion from you guys regarding what are my options

ah ok, i see what you are saying, yeah that sucks. have you tried sourcing gaskets yourself? ive had great luck with Sewell lexus. they had some items i needed in stock and they do over night shipping. try them and maybe you can get the gaskets by monday.

Interested to see if your track times improve after headers. Keep us updated.
