I completely forgot about the other thread I made.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...for-now-1.html

It has some "finished" pics and a start-up video, nothing on the road though.

Damn, where did you pick up the Aristo swap? Would you recommend them? Price (if you don't consider it rude to ask)?

I picked up the engine, transmission, wiring harness and ECU from a friends local shop here in Calgary. I paid $2600 cad for it.

engine management ($5000), fuel system ($1200), exhaust ($1800), GReddy Aristo 4row intercooler kit ($2200) the list goes on and on. I basically bought everything that was bolt on, so there was little or no fab work involved. you could do it for much cheaper buying universal stuff and making it work. I haven't gotten THE wheels that I want yet, but i did pick up a set of L-tuned model IV's in the 19" variety that I will be rolling on for a while. I haven't been able to do anything else, just trying to save up some more money to get what I want. The car is a FREAKING blast to drive. hearing the big *** turbo spool and take off is awesome. I'm building a house at the moment and it has a massive (compared to what I did the swap in) 24' x 32' double car garage with a 4 post lift. 6 speed swap coming in the summer or fall. Mustang's are for lightweights lol I'm looking for Z06 Corvette's

Awesome - Thanks man. Having a pre 01 GS300, makes this a pretty easy choice, when it comes to doing the NA-T or the GTE swap.

I see the wire you switch on the ignitor, but I think I missed a couple posts about the other 3 wires you had to move over. Not sure if you still have that documented anywhere?

This is a great write up, I plan on doing my the same.

Thanks for your help.

Michael

I didn't take post any pics of that wiring, I'll have to take a look on my computer and see if I have any of them. I know I took some, i just don't know where they are.
