Any updates?

Sorry for buggin this build, you've given inspiration if your swap is as easy as you say....

Also, will you be having to bang the firewall back a bit?

The SARD 265lph fuel pump is installed all nice and shiny. The second pic is of the SARD jet pump killer. Basically what that does is allows you to remove the jet pump assembly and install this in its place. Then you drill a hole in the top of the fuel pump assembly, install a bulkhead fitting and attach the hose on the top of the jet pump killer to the bulkhead fitting. Clamp it down and the return line is done. The little black piece that come with the SARD JPK is a plug to close up where the factory FPR goes. Also there is 2 open ports on the bottom of the JPK, one stays open for the fuel return, and the other attaches to the siphon hose that runs to the other side of the gas tank. $125 for 10 minutes of work. I don't have any pics of this part yet, but I will shortly. When you have reinstalled the fuel pump assembly, it's time to run the fuel lines from the back to the front. In this case I am running -6an Feed and -6an return. I won't need much more than that for my needs. The best part is on the top of the fuel pump assembly (FPA), you can remove the stock feed line, remove the hose from the fitting and the -6an line will fit on the factory fitting, so all you have to do is clamp it down and be done with it. for the return line make sure you buy the corresponding AN bulkhead fitting size to match your lines. (again, -6an for my return so a -6an bulkhead fitting) it also has to be a 90 degree fitting, as a straight fitting will not clear the access port to the fuel tank. After the lines are run to the front, your feed line can be attached to the factory aristo fuel rail by a 90 degree m12x1.5 to -6an adapter fitting. and on the other end i bought a SARD fuel pressure regulator adaptor that bolts on the fuel rail where the stock aristo regulator is. Then I attached a 90 degree 1/8npt to -6an fitting (has to be a 90degree fitting to clear the throttle body)to run to the SARD FPR, attached the line from the rail and the line returning to the fuel tank, and the system was complete.

I also started to install my Fujitsubo Legalis Super R exhaust, when I ran into my second hang up of the swap. The transmission yokes on the aristo and the GS300 are slightly different. The aristo bolt holes on the yoke sit farther off of center than they do on the GS300. Im hoping that just switching the yokes from the GS to the Aristo will solve that problem. Exhaust cannot be installed until this is taken care of. But heres some comparison pics to tide you over till its done.

The Fujitsubo exhaust is ****ing exquisite. It goes from turbo back, dual 3 inch all the way. The cannisters are a little smaller than the HKS exhaust and SOOOOO much nicer. They are stainless steel but have the appearance of titanium. SO light too.

oh yeah, there will be no need to bang the firewall. As my GReddy T78-33d turbo kit clears quite nicely. (even if they were stock twins i don't believe you would have to do that anyways. I think that's just the first gens that need to have that done.)

nothing to get excited over. I towed the car to the local shop to get some welding done. They are pretty overbooked so they ended up letting me use the facillities to do the work myself. (much thanks to them, as they could have just shrugged me off and told me to come back when they were less busy. So I'm much appreciative of that!! ) The local HKS tuner is away till the 9th of June, so I won't be able to have the Vpro tuned till then. So I'm gonna have to dig up a set of JDM 440's or USDM 550's and a resistor pack so I can at least drive the car until then. But other than that, the car is about 90% finished and I'm hoping to be back on the road by Monday. (fingers crossed) I'll try to get some more pics up to show some of the completed stuff that I haven't had up yet.

I've gotten this all done in about 20 hours total. (I've been done since Friday last week, just waiting on some piping and other small things.) I was only able to work on it about 4 hours a day in between walking my daughter to school and picking her up. I'm glad that I could help anyone who was looking to do this swap themselves. If you guys have any other questions about what was done on the swap that I didn't get to, feel free to ask, and I'll try to answer it the best I can.

completed hot pipe from turbo to intercooler

so tomorrow, pics of the exhaust, the new downpipe with the wastegate plumbed back in to the down pipe and thermo-wrapped.

now it's all the little things, running vaccum lines, installing radiator fans, switching out the 850cc for 440cc just so i can drive it until my Vpro can be tuned. hook up the MAF and some other various sensors that I removed since I don't need them with the Vpro. mount the catch can, get some split loom for where the braided stainless lines rest on hoses etc. Just the little stuff now, I'm one day closer to start up.

Great job so far man. I have a question. I think you mentioned that your going with the fcon vpro. I'm looking into a new engine management for my new set up and was thinking of going AEM fic or aem full standalone but I've heard nothing but great great things about the Vpro. What does it go for? and what added sensors do you need to get if any?
