Default Ebay Project Continued....

Okay, I have the car about ready to go to paint. (Hopefully next week) The problem is I have a hood that will not line up. (I got ripped off) I am painting the color black cherry or burgundy. I was thinking about painting the car like it is now and then put a black carbon fiber hood on it. Does anyone have a picture of what this might look like? What are your thoughts? Thanks.

I think black CF hood on black cherry would look perfect It wouldnt be a huge contrast in colors so I wouldnt even paint the hood at all

Thanks for the input on that. I still want to keep the classy look so hopefully that works out. I am probably going to go the legal limit on tinting the windows as well.

Maybe you can paint a thin coat of paint over so it'll match but you'll still see the weave.

If you're going for the classy look then I would say paint it. I don't think carbon fiber is ricey but it's more sporty.

I would just keep the factory hood and not buy the carbon one. Like some are saying that carbon is more for the race look, if you are going for classy/luxury just keep your factory hood. IMO
