So my cars in the shop and it's getting all new paint and I need sone advice. I want black but should I get matte or standard Lexus gloss also I want to do something with my hood either get a carbon fiber hood or wrap it with aerotect another option is matte black the hood roof and trunk please give me your opinions

 

gloss black ftw. and carbon fiber hoods look sexy! but ive also seen some people do gloss body and matte the raised part of the hood (center..im not sure what to call it). my friend has aerotect wrap on his hood for the cf look. but its starting to peel off the edges underneath...

 

Or I could get carbon fiber or matte black stripes on gloss black

 

lol I was just going to say that i love the look of gloss black with flat black stripes but i havent seen ANY ISX50's with stripes it would be something diffrent look up some other cars black w/ flat stripes. I would give you props for doing somethin diffrent tho

i think a matte black racing stripe on a glossy black car would be really hot.

 

Do it flat white man. look sick and youd be the first

 

noo not flat white. then u'd look like a mustang or some muscle car...do matte black. u wont regret it

 

yeah the problem witha stripe is it belongs on a stang or camaro not a lexus
i think im gonna go with what ive been saying matte center raised part of hood roof and roof spoiler and trunk

id stick with the lexus gloss black and if you want to have a matte look for the hood, check out the frostbite overlay by aerotect. looks great on black.
