Default dash rattling

Not sure if this topic has been covered before, but i tried searching and came up empty. Seeing Rominl's old post about the sunroof rattle made me think about the annoying dash rattling...

so if this has been covered, can someone link me to the thread.. if not, my question is how do i get rid of the rattling noise?

the rattling seems to be coming from the passenger side airbag area.. everytime i hit a bump it rattles like crazy, and drives me insane. anyone know how to fix this?

same situation has started occuring to me the past week. Haven't really had time to check it out. My short term solution. Turn up the music. But hopefully I can check it out this weekend.

My car has this problem every once in a while as well. I was thinking about just pulling the dash off and tightening everything down again. Hopefully someone has an easier solution though.

I had the same rattle for the longest time...I took it in to a local shop, and they said it was just a loose bracket under the dash around the air bag area. I wish I was there to take a photo of the exact part to help, but it was nothing more than them having to tighten the screw to that loose part.

I know this is pointless without more detail or photos, but..well..you know

From what he told me, you have to take the dash off completely to get to it...can't be accessed through the glove box at all. But that's assuming its the same bracket that's lose of course. Sorry...Im not much help

I have this problem. It's annoying, but oh well. Most of the time I have my music on so I can't hear a thing.
