Default Vandalised while deployed.

Hey guys, any of you out there can help. My foglights got stolen while i was deployed to bahgdad and I need a set of the yellow ones, but I really don't wanna spend $200 bucks for each as I have been quoted, is there anyone out there that is willing to let some go at a decent price with bulbs and also a retro hid kit, and for those group buys i see going on, all you have to be is a member of cl to get the benefit? OH, and if anyone has an extra armrest for the center console in tan, swing it this way, really need to get my car back up to par, it looks like crap after they got to it, they even put a rip in the material in my a-pillar on the passenger side, any ideas how to fix that easily. Thanks a lot, there a few airmen on my base with gs' and is' that I will be introducing to this site, and I know they are ready to hook thier cars up, so let me know whats out there so I can get my baby back in shape.

That sucks dude. You go to help defend our country and in return, you get your foglights stolen. I'm sorry I can't help you with your parts. But hey, I hope you get ur car back up to par (hey that rhymes). I wish you the best.

No, it wasn't on base, I left it with a friend so that she could start it up occasionally and clean it up, but i guess someone noticed it sitting there quite a bit and took advantage, deductable is $1000, used to do a lot of drag racing back in miami , now is it $189 for the pair or each? I'm kinda new, so forgive the dumb questions, also, can anyone recommend anything to clean out your headlights, mine has the yellow look now, really hate it, what can i use to remove that.

Check the classified for fogs. After you get your set of fogs, purchase some theft proof bolts for them. member ChuckB put me on to some bolts from this place in NYC (Thanks Chuck ). I am sure they sell them online somewhere.

I"m sorry to hear about your car and I know this doesn't help your current situation. But for future deployments you should have the military store your car. If you're going TDY or will be deployed for 30 days or longer they will store your vehicle. The military contracts a service that takes excellent care of your car. They do a very detailed initial inspection. The car is washed and anything removable is sealed in a box that you inspect and initial. Then there is a website that you can visit to see what service is done every month. They start the car twice a month, check the battery voltage, turn on the a/c and heat, and move the car so that the tires don't get flat spots. Plus they do any scheduled maintenance with the parts of your choice. All this is done in a temperature controlled environment. Other than the cost of any maintenence that's necessary, i.e. oil changes, battery changes, it's all FREE!

Sorry to hear about your foglights. Thats just wrong.

I recommend Meguiers Plastic X. It has always worked for me.

As far as getting rid of the yellow on your headlights check herefor additional info.
