Default Need help with foglight problem

Today I installed some new headlights on my car and they fired up great and look great. Only problem is the foglights I have wont turn on at all. I checked the fuse and it is fine. I just bought the foglights brand new from carson a few months ago and use them sparingly, but now they dont work at all. Any idea what the problem might be.

The headlights I installed are a retrofit hid, in case that makes any difference

hmm, thats weird, the headlights have nothing to do with the fogs and if the fuses are all good than I worry cuz this happen to me when I 1st bought the blkgs4 last year. The fogs weren't working. We checked the fuses and everything and it ended up being the switch relay and they had to replace the whole light switch by the steering wheel. I have no idea what it cost since it was a warranty issue.

Man I sure hope it isnt that. I havent turned my fogs on in a few weeks, so I was puzzled when they wouldnt fire up today. If I cant get them to work I guess there will be a set of yellow fog lights for sale in the classifieds soon

Hey Adrian where is the relay at? I was looking thrrough the manual and the fog light fuse is the #2 fuse and it is in the drivers side footwell. Anyone recommend any other thing to test out? I guess I can try to change the bulbs and see if that may help. But the bulbs were used for maybe 6 hours max. I hope it isnt something serious

ah Rich I hope its not that, Dude I went and changed the bulbs, and looked at every fuse in the car and than they said the relay switch that you use to flick on the light went bad. they got me a new full switch and it lit right again.

Don't the fogs go out when you put on your high beams ?

Im not sure? I am wondering if it is the wiring that is the problem. The thing is I didnt turn the foglights on with the stock halogen lights in before I put the new HID lights in, so I cant say if they were working before or not.

Well, I feel bad admitting this, but I guess when I turned on the headlights I must have switched them forward, turning on the high beams. Now I didnt have the high beam lights in so they didnt turn on. But once I switched back to lo beams then the fog lights came on. Man am I relieved. But the fog lights do turn off when you turn the high beams off
