Thumbs up SRT INTAKE installed

well, i purchased this intake from another member only b/c i wanted to kinda "get my feet wet" b/c i do plan on goin FI soon... its not definite, so thats why i decided to jump on this one while it was available. i have always been skeptical of intakes and what they can do, and this one proved me wrong. there is a DEFINITE difference in how the car drives. there isnt as much "lag" when i press on the gas as there used to be and there is a noticeable difference in sound. im still running the stock mufflers/exhaust b/c i cant make up my mind on what i want right now. i have had this installed since sunday (BIG THANKS TO JOHNNY!!!!! ) but never had the chance to post pics. well im sure you have seen this intake many times, but here it is again on my car

i hope u like them... and sorry that the engine is kinda dirty, i have not had a chance to clean it in a while

The chrome really compliments the engine bay really well.. Now you have to chrome some othere engine parts to match the intake..... Look great man..

When you get an exhaust you will notice even more midrange pickup, more air in, more air out.

looks different in blue rather than red. Does it come with the piggyback ECU for the GS300 as well???

How are you going to show us a shiny spankin' intake all chromed out and blinding and than have the rest of the engine bay look like that!!!!!!!!!!!! .......But for real man I'm glad it found a great home on a highly modded car for great exposure of flashy look besides its great sound and feel. Huge congrats man and thanx for the smooth tranaction.

Side note, you should really get a clamp for the intake side of the cupling by the throttle body. pass by an autozone and pick one for for about $1.00 and send me the bill

another side note...If i get a bill for $1.00 I'll own you on every thread you ever post on!!

Yes it comes with an ecu for the gs3's aswell. The blue was me cuz Red wouldn't have matched up very well with my theme in the engine bay, but the filter is the same filter that comes from srt, its an AFE filter which when I went to replace it a couple months ago they now come in blue aswell as red so I chose the blue of course..
