**GS430 kompressor/Supercharged!**
the power is 341.3 rwhp and 311.3 rhtq, XS engineering is VERY conservative on the tuning and my system is running a bit on the rich side.
level 10 makes TQ converter for our car, XS engineering only deals with level 10 , not PI. i might as well go with level 10...by the way anyone has experience with level 10 TQ converter???
thanks guys!!! now i am very happy with the supercharger system!!

Have you done any 0-60 MPH or quartermile runs yet? I am curious to see what times you get!
approximately 25% is lost to drivetrain inefficencies. So if you add 25% you get 426hp at the crank
Secondly has anyone dynoed the engine at the crank to see if 300 is the real number?
I have a suspicionn that it may actually be more than 300 at the crank. It seems that there is something magical about 300hp and very few of the manufacturers want to make cars that go over it. I dont know if it is regulatory of marketing or what.
Rominl, 240 at the crank is towards the higher end from what I've seen/read on stock GSs. Most are a bit under that. Some over, but more under IMO (most just don't post about it being under that).
I took yesterday afternoon off and made a little trip to the dyno. No new tweaks beyond my original install, but I wanted to validate the SRT dyno I did. Laid down 380.1 hp and 354.1 tq
. With 20% thats 475hp and with 25% that's 507hp at the crank. Hmmm, I'm starting to like that 25% metric now too

I've always used 20% for my calculations. 20% is pretty standard for auto trannys and although the extra 'luxury' features of the smooth lexus shifting do make it a little less efficient overall, but that shouldn't affect the dyno numbers in a single gear.

thanks for the clarification
oh ah, ic... coz' during the dyno day we had a while ago we had a lot of cars with raound 240, i guess that's where i got the idea
thanks for the clarification
or you like to round up a little
Cali just has a lot of strong cars
or you like to round up a little
Actually none of the GS's had stock motors, but the TC and 3.76 mods don't show up as power gains on the dyno.

No we just have strong NA cars.

I'll try to dig up the dyno day we did a few years ago that had several near stock GSs.

crankHP x 0.80 = rwHP
rwHP x 1.25 = crankHP
assuming a 20% drivetrain loss. So the original estimate of 426 crankHP for 341 rwHP was correct if the 20% drivetrain loss is considered correct:
426 crankHP x 0.80 = ~341 rwHP
341 rwHP x 1.25 = ~426 crankHP
dave, yeah i guess it must have something to do with the intake and stuff. my car only has a lousy exhaust, so i guess i shouldn't even get my car up on the dyno jet
