Congrats kyle . I just can't imagine the power in that car now with the SC, considering I'm pretty happy with my lead foot in my 300 . Please post a follow-up. We should have a "drool" smiley.

According to Level 10 the stock tranny is good for 320 hp or so. I am welll past that now with my setup and the tranny is still surviving but who knows for how long.

Andrew - congrats on the S/C! Yes, the XS Engineering is very pricey, but they do good work. I've had my car there many times - no complaints on their work at all, but they bill $125/hr for everything they do and I think $150/hr for the dyno (plus a $50 hook-up fee).

00lexondub the kit should fit fine...there are no difference between the 430 and 400 engine positions so that was never a problem. But now kyle has the dilemma of trying to get a FMU to work right with the car....its all software at this point....

Kyle please do keep us updated on your tuning...congrats on being the 1st 430 to be supercharged....well that I know of anyways!
When RMM 1st released the S/C I was ready to order But Blair of RMM said he did not know if it would work. He said that a different mount would need to be made and the tensioner was different. I thought $5K was a lot for it MIGHT fit. Glad you proved him wrong. Now only if they had a few more left,

Glad to see you made it happen.

yeh he told me that the tensioner is different but its no big deal just change it out.
and a couple other stuffs are also different but it will only run you about $300 for all other extra(different) parts, which isnt bad at all.i dont know if they are gonna make more SC unit, but they have 1 left , which they will not sell cuz they need that last one to be the model or something...

Were the different parts like tensioner ,something that they lexus stocks ? or things from the GS400 motor?
I got the impression that they were getting out of the GS S/C market caues it was not that profitable to market it.

1 thing to get is the GS400 tensioner, instead of GS430 tensioner, and the intake piping has to get from RMM, and some bolts and spacers will have to be custom made, but its easy. that is pretty much all you need for the installation. everything else is the same or very similar.

Maybe it will get some other tuners to pipe up.Early this year SRT said that they were THINKInG of resurfacing the S/C For the GS 400/430 but nothing was final.
Steve of Luxurymotorworks said that they are considering a S/C or the GS400/430 when they ae done w/ the IS/GS 300 S/C
I would be very interested in a decent kit.. GEE really miss a good thing when its gone

ok now, the car is putting out 335.6 rwhp and 305.9 rwTQ. the engine starter system fails so i have to get it fixed..(what a good time.... ) other than that the car is running fine. i have to get it finely tuned one more time though.

i have the smaller pulley 3.12 with the bigger injector, besides that i have nothing else for performance mods on my car.

any suggestions ??? my goal is to hit 360 rwHP and 340 rwTQ. LSD or TC will help???

Good to see your back on the road ANdrew. What was the starter issue?

Numbers appear good though some tuning will get it up.
My max before was 345hp and 285tq and the car ran like cr@p.
Need to dyno it here shortly with the Emanage installed. Perhaps tomorrow if I have time.

Didn't XS tune it while the car was there?

Let me know
Lee
