he said in a previous psot that you need a new tensioner offf of a gs400... if i buy that and obvioulsy the rmm kit, i would just need some custom brakcets and bolts.. thats all????????
do i need to add a safc2???? what else would i need to get this to run right? im tryin to get a ballpark figure on the enitre project

umm i don't know everything but i wil try to answer, since i don't think kyle is here often. i think he told me once that the management that came with the kits didnt' work, and he had to give the car to xs engineering (or sp i forgot) and had them tune the car for him

from the studying i have done on supercharging a GS430 (thanks to Lance at ToyoMoto in miami) the whole project is about $10k...he says it needs a custom bracket and most likely a custom fuel management system to work with our cars...anybody agree or disagree?

if your going through lance it will probably be a lot more than that, he wants 12.5k for his standard stage 2 turbo kit, imagine a full blown custom set up like this...plus with Toyomoto just leave the car and buy a new ride until next year until he finally finishes it..i've read horror stories and know a couple IS guys who have had trouble with his ETA.

Rick- I remember when you were selling the gs3 and looking for a gs4 I told you get a 400 so you could SC it or TT but you wanted the "430"..I know LMW is going to do one but its not close.

im actaulyl considerig doing the rmm SC kit, i heard htat LMS would have one but honestly i will miss most of this year (show season) waiting on it, i woul rather just go ahead and go for it because i dont have much pateince, i have been talkin extensively to the local shop that would be doing the install and they have been talkin to RMM about it, looks like that i would need some custom brackets a bolts machined but other than that i would onyl need the belt tensioner from a gs400, then need some tuning, and possible a apexi safc2, but maybe not, i would really like to get this thing on there and going, i guess i need to make a ophone call to LMS first and see a ETA on their SC kit, because i would rather have a "bolt on" one for the 430. i need to make a decision soon because i want to change the car for HIN atl, wethere it is a SC or new interior/audio vdieo, im gonna figur eit out this week...

and my shp and the kit total will be aroun 6-6500 k for eveything.

Wow. Are you saying that the RMM installed with the custom work is 6-6500 for everything (I assume you did not mean 6000k because that's a lot of $ )? That is a great price.

From my understanding, the RMM SC did not come w/ a managment system. it utillizes the factory ECU. I was told that the that the boost was kept low enough to be within parameters for the stock ECU to handle it.

i talked to eric bout the kit today, he told me you didnt need a EMS if you use the pulley supplied because of the low boost, which i like alot, im not a power freak and this mod would be mostly for shows,

Johnny,
Did you get a chance to get yours tuned yet? Curious to see what #'s its putting out. What do you hope to get your boost to 8-10lbs? Is it ture that if you get around 10 you need to do interanl mods.?
