talked with XS engineering, with proper tuning, it should produce about 360 wrhp , which is not bad, because i would want the car to be very reliable and drive it everyday. unit ~ $4800, installation~$1000
and tuning will be around $1000 to $2000 depends on what i will do(maybe i will do valve body upgrade as well, alone with the TRD LSD) so it will all depends, but i think the price isnt bad at all ~!

the rest of the mounting points are all the same between 400 and 430 but he told me that after tuning 430 should get more TQ than 400, being that it has larger displacement.
i will have to bring the car to XS engineering to let them tune the car, remember larry has a Black Turbo SC430? his ECU was tuned from XS engineering as well, custom job that it. it should be done in a week..we'll have to wait and see..

aMAZING DUDE. Congrats!! THis is fantastic news for GS 430 owners!

2000 is a whole lot of money for tuning alone. You could get a complete stand alone EFI system WITH wideband for that.

XSengineering is not cheap-thus the name eXceSs. They quoted me 700-800 in parts+installation +tuning.
Since I am now on my 4th week waiting for a Greddy Emanage computer from SRT that I could have picked up down the street, I am thinking maybe I should have went that route. Hopefully I will get it this coming week.

Andrew, good to speak to you today. I forgot to mention that I would highly recommend that you do not drive the car until you get some sort of engine management in it. Dumping too much fuel into the cylinders can cause damage just as too little fuel can.

but theres no playing around at XS. my friend had his evo tuned there and they have it running at 360whp on a stock turbo. ill have them tune my S/C kit when i get mine too. it's like what alot of people here at CL say, if youre going to do it do it the right way first.

Nice Andrew. Congrats on the SC! I think there is a whole lot of interest in your final results. The problem is RMM is not actively pursuing the SC market for the GS anymore. Maybe your success will get them thinking.
