Thumbs down 2 things I learned over the weekend....

Number one:

Our cars are heavy

Number two:

Stretched tires suck ***

So I was happyly cruising on the freeway saturday when I tried to change lanes on a bridge (small wash) and the bump made my 2 front tires flat because of the overstretched they are... LUCKLY I had the stock extra tire plus a front TT Supra wheel with a good tire in my trunk and I didn't get stuck 30 mi away from civilization...that would have been a very nice jog though... SO, i think it is a bad idea to have a 225/40/18 on a 9.5 wheel... the stretch is just too much for the weight of our cars.
I will try to get 235/40's this time and tested with my coilovers... hopefully it will be a better outcome.

ran a small tire because it was given to me lol
i got 255/35 and i am quite happy with the outcome! you have to remember that tucson az streets are caca compared to phoenix or other cities... So I got coilovers as well and might install them today. Whit these wheels up front i will need to roll my fenders but not that much. Sty tuned for pics!
