I'm just curious @AJT123 what you think of this truck. It has the same tow range of it's rivals, over 400 miles of range without towing, charges extremely fast (up to 360 kW), has the same functionality as any gas or diesel truck, and over 600 HP. Only downside I see is it's $90k, but that said, my friend paid over a $100k for his Raptor, and it gets around 13 MPG if he drives it like a grandma
Styling-wise, I prefer the Lightning. I've never been sold on the "EV must look quirky" rule. I suppose it will appeal to fans of the old Chevy Avalanche.
@AJT123 pretty sure you said this would never see production...
GM has masssssively scaled back their ambitions, wisely. This was supposed to be out a year and a half ago. I hope it's not on the same Ultim platform that they've been having all these issues with.
Still, selling 1500 of them isn't really anything to write home about. But at least I'm not being told by MT it's one of the most significant vehicles ever that will lead everyone into EVdom.

I think it's a better Ford Lightning pretty much because of the things you mention. It's "neat". I'm sure some rich contractors will buy them, like the Lightnings.

But for $100k+???
I'm not predicting how it's going to sell, I just wanted your take as a truck owner. I doubt this is intended for contractors. Most of the large recreational truck owners I know paid a pretty penny for theirs
