Will I set off my alarm???? Need to know ASAP.
So I have had a nightmare of a situation with trying to repair my car. I finally gave in and dropped it at the mechanic to get them to look at it. Only problem is, I dropped the key in the slot at the mechanic and left my wallet on the passenger seat.
If I were to pry the window and hit the unlock button on the door, will that set off the alarm? I have the card key in my wallet, can I use that to turn off the alarm if it goes off? Is there any other way to get in my car without setting off the alarm? (I know the answer to that would most likely be no).
Any quick help is greatly appreciated.

You don't list the year/model of your car... Anyway, I assume you've moved on from the situation, but may I ask why you didn't unlock your driver's door with the card key that you keep in your wallet (presumably for this sort of circumstance)?

It’s a 2000 es300. My fault on that.
The reason son I didn’t unlock it with the flat key is because it was locked in the car on the passenger seat. I planned on breaking in and then using the key in the wallet.
Min case anyone else is wondering, the flat key will turn off the alarm when used in the drivers door.
