Default Weird Alarm Situation

I just replaced both of my front door actuators and now I have this weird alarm situation I have never encountered this the 2 years I've owned the car. Prior to the installation, I've always been locking and engaging the alarm by locking it twice and disengaging it by unlocking it twice. I never had the key fob, I just had 2 set of keys(bought it like that). Now, I would close the doors and the alarm engages(solid red light) and when I would unlock it(manually) and open the doors the alarm goes off. The only way I can turn it off is by putting the key in and turning it to the ON position or starting the car altogether. Would the working actuators play a part in my alarm situation and I'm now required to get the key fob and get it programmed?

In addition, now I cant arm or disarm the alarm with the keys with either driver or passenger door. Any input would help.

try resetting the ECU would be my best guess, sounds like it is stuck mid-cycle in between arm and disarm.

Thanks. What would cause it to be stuck in mid-cycle though? But, I went ahead and did that and check back on it tomorrow morning. My neighbors are starting to get pissed off. I appreciate it!

i really don't know, this is just a guess-- but it could be one of them things where it was in the armed position when it really wasn't or similar and with the working actuators now it might have reversed roles. electrical problems suck.

in any case, it sounds like you don't have keyless entry?

Well if thats the case, I'm hoping that resetting would put things back in check..

No, I don't have the FOB. I'll probably end up getting one through Sewell.

Thanks.
